Here we are after the 10-hour travel by land and by sea!
Hello lovely Calaguas! |
After settling our things in the cottage, we decided to have a rest first and just observe and take in the beauty of Calaguas. No electricity, no AC, no cellphone signal, just the fresh sea breeze, turquoise waters, powdery white sand, and clear blue skies. Oh, welcome to the island life!
During lunch time, we were served Sinigang na Hipon (shrimp), fried chicken, vegetables, bananas, and a whole lot of rice! What more can you ask for with a very delicious meal and a view like this?
Since we were all so full and sun was still up high, we had a rest again. While the other group was doing island hopping, there we were in our cottage, sleeping like a log. Haha! It's like two hours of just, well, sleep.
At past 3 in the afternoon, we had our much needed bath to freshen up. Finally, the burning heat was not that strong anymore and it's time to go out of our cottage and just enjoy the beach.
This is me like a child playing in the waters |
After a few hours, the sun started to set in. It's one of those moments that you just want to stare at.
It's just beautiful.
