And here is my finished product! Though it's not that good yet compared to other lomo images, I still feel proud and happy. ☺

Dreaming of Lomo
I am currently obssessed with lomography. There's something special about it. Whenever I looked at lomo images, they seemed magical and enchanted. Here's one.

And for this year, one of my goals is to have a lomo cam! I want to learn more about lomography. I am also planning to download some softwares which can put a lomo effect in a digital photo.

Stepping out of my Comfort Zone and Moving Forward
Change is inevitable. And as what people say, The only constant thing in this world is change.
Let's just say that now is the time to move forward. I need to move on and step out of my comfort zone. Everything about LB and IRRI screams the word 'comfort zone'. LB is a small town where I've been living for almost seven years now. This is where I spent my four years in college - a difficult but fulfilling ride. And IRRI is where I've been working for two and a half years now - continuing my passion for molecular research. But in just a few weeks time, I would be leaving this place. A place I also considered as my home away from home.
Surely, I'll be missing a lot.
My FRIENDS and COLLEAGUES...

Firework
Been listening to this song over and over again. It never fails to inspire me.
♪♫ You just gotta ignite the light
And let it shine
Just own the night
Like the Fourth of July ♫♪

HELLO 2011!
It's been eleven days already since 2011 started. I must say that I am really thankful for all the things that happened to me in the previous year. Going back last December, I received a gift that I've been praying for. Tarah! I was accepted in grad school! Thank you so much God! I'll be starting this Spring. I can't help but feel mixed emotions:
But one thing's for sure, I need to do my best in this endeavor. Aja!
I'm so excited because I've been waiting for this for so long.
And nervous because I'm not sure of how things will go.
And sad because I'll be leaving my family and the country where I grew up...
And stressed out right now because of the requirements needed for visa application, plane ticket, etc.
But it's okay. It is what I want. It is my dream.
*It's amazing how time passes by. I am now a year older and hopefully a little bit wiser.=)
